SHK4RIDER Interphone by Kris H from Vancouver, BC CA written on April 14, 2013 **I would like to replace my previous review of this product with this one. Overall opinion has not changed, but a couple of errors were made in the first one, and some language was edited.*** I previously had the 2010 version of this headset, but I broke one and the other came off at higher than necessary speeds. So, I bought this unit for myself a few months back, and it's years ahead of the previous one! The speakers sound MUCH better, are easier to install, and feel unnoticeable next to my ears, and my helmet doesn't have speaker pockets! The old headset was uncomfortable and sounded like an old telephone. The remote is AWESOME, but be nice to the buttons and don't push on them sideways; they could come off. The audio line-in is another serious bonus! I liked this interphone so much that I bought another for my girlfriend, and then one of our riding buddies bought one! They're great for the money and work very well so far! My only complaint is the mounting clips, which always break in the first couple of months, but the stick-on mount does the job if sealed with silicone. One tip: put a piece of clear packing tape or gorilla tape over the mount, between the mount and the unit, and cut a few Xs to open the mounting hole (remove the excess tape inside the hole only if too tight). This wlll keep the unit from coming off of the mount at speed!
